Fall time is lovely in Victoria for wedding photography
Victoria is lovely in the fall, I love the lower sun, saturated colours, cool days, and polarized skies.
For a wedding photographer this season is a real bonus. After summers’ hot days, blazing sun, harsh shadows and stark contrast of midday, this is a real treat. I like the feeling and the airy feel to the portraits in the fall.
Plus it is not hot or cold and the bride, groom and photographer feel quite comfortable outside.
This wedding I photographed at Sooke Harbour House , it (the Sooke Harbour House) was just as charming as it is in the summer, I think even more so as the winter settles in, it feels more cozy and warm.
Eloping is popular these days and I enjoy photographing couples alone without crowds of guests and onlookers, it seems somehow even more fitting this time of year.
- This is probably my favorite image from this wedding
