I have been living here in Victoria, on Vancouver Island, for 12 years now and absolutely love it.

I trained in Russia and Switzerland and launched my photography career here in Canada, first as a general commercial photographer attempting to specialize in architectural photography, then quickly shifted my focus to wedding photography. Although I became a wedding photographer and a portrait photographer in essence, my interest in static objects led me to yet another cool field of photography - food photography.
Cookbooks I have photographed in the last years
Having close contact with the hospitality industry and in particular with Sooke Harbour House has allowed me to develop as a food photographer and work with great chefs and great products. My work has appeared in magazines like Vogue Entertainment, Delicious, Martha Stewart Living, Canadian Living, Seattle Mag, Vancouver Mag, Savor, North West Palate, Eat Magazine, and 5 cookbooks three of which have received prestigious awards.
